Simple really, use the app more. The more data you log, the better the insights become. If you have 3 months of training data the AI coach will be able to really help look for trends and moods. But ultimately it is up to you, you can just use the app to log goals and keep you focused. This app has been built by cricket coaches and tested on players with fantastic results, but you only get out what you put in.
Using pen and paper is great, but why not use the technology you have. By logging everything you can quickly see past records and more importantly learn from the past, and of course an AI coach does not exist on paper.
Performance analysis helps you visualize the data from training and match days and can correlate insights such as Mood vs Performance. The longer you use the app the better the insights become.
Great question! They use the same logic, but the Coaching Tips in Form Analysis are more targeted at trends and quick actionable items. If you combine these with the AI Coach your game will be in a great place.
Free users get a 7-day trial with up to 3 AI coaching reports. Premium users receive 20 reports in the first 30 days, then 12 reports per month. You'll receive a notification when you've used more than 50% of your monthly allocation.
The Form view is only available to premium subscribers or users in their trial period. If your trial has ended, you'll need to upgrade to premium to continue accessing the Form view and AI coaching features.
Mood tracking helps cricketers understand how their emotional and mental state affects their training, focus, and performance. Logging how you feel before or after a session provides valuable insights that go beyond stats — especially for long-term growth, confidence, and game-day readiness.
Your emotional state can influence concentration, motivation, decision-making, and physical performance. For example, consistent feelings of frustration or low energy might signal overtraining or burnout. On the flip side, logging a confident or "awesome" mood often correlates with stronger performance outcomes.
To add a training session, go to the training tab, select the '+' button and choose either 'Log New training' if the training has already occurred, or 'Schedule Future Training' if the training is in the future - this option is great for club training that reoccurs.
A training session is a broader practice session where you work on multiple skills—batting, bowling, fielding, fitness, or match scenarios. It's about putting your overall game into action and building performance through repetition, drills, or match simulation.
A technique session is focused and specific. It's where you work on refining the finer details of a skill—like adjusting your grip, changing your bowling action, or fixing your stance. These sessions are often short, intense, and focused on mastering or correcting one thing at a time.
Match performance is tracked through the Match Day feature. You can record batting statistics (runs, balls faced, boundaries) and bowling figures (overs, maidens, wickets, runs conceded) for each match. The app calculates performance metrics automatically.
Yes, you can edit past match results by going to the Activity Tab, selecting the current Match performance by tapping on it and editing from there. Alternatively if it is a match further in the past, you can edit individual performance for each skill by going to Activity / Batting (or Bowling/Fielding) / Match Day and tapping on the game from there.
Switch Hit rewards your cricket activities with Experience Points (XP). You earn XP by completing training sessions, recording match performances, setting and achieving goals, maintaining a diary, and using the app consistently. The more active you are, the more XP you'll accumulate.
As you earn XP, you'll progress through different cricketer levels, from Backyard Legend to Pro. Each level unlocks new features, achievements, and recognition. Your current level is displayed on your profile, showing your cricket journey progression.
To cancel your subscription, go to your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions, find Switch Hit, and tap Cancel Subscription. Your premium features will remain available until the end of your current billing period.
